Court — Monday
• Robin Patrick Hodson made an initial appearance on a possession of methamphetamine with the intent to deliver charge, a possession of marijuana with the intent to deliver charge, a possession of Alprazolam-third offense charge, a failure to affix a drug tax stamp charge, a keeping a premises or vehicle for the purpose of using or selling drugs charge, an unlawful possession of prescription drugs charge and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Dec. 18. Bond is set at $100,000 cash or surety. Upon release, Hodson will have 60 days to obtain a substance abuse evaluation and submit the results to the court.
• Kiyanna Jaycee Pushetonequa made an initial appearance on a probation violation charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Bond is set at $5,000 cash only.
• Robert Joseph Thomas, of Lincoln, Neb., made an initial appearance on a disorderly conduct charge. Thomas pleaded guilty and the fine is $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $147.75, due by Jan. 31, 2020.
• Shanise Larae Parker, of Tama, made an initial appearance on a operating while under the influence-first offense charge and a failure to use headlamps when required charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Dec. 23. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court within 60 days.
• Raylyn Katherine Finders made an initial appearance on a possession of drug paraphernalia. Finders pleaded guilty and the fine is $65 with a $22.75 surcharge, a $125 law enforcement initiative surcharge, a $10 DARE surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $282.75, due by Jan. 31, 2020.
• Geraldine Rae Vodochodsky made an initial appearance on a rabies vaccination violation charge. Vodochodsky pleaded not guilty and the pre-trial conference is scheduled at 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 29, 2020, in Magistrate Court.
• Triton A. Buffington failed to make an appearance on a no insurance-accident charge and the court found him guilty. The fine is $500 with a $175 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $735, due by Jan. 31, 2020.
• A 15-year-old girl represented by her mother made an appearance on a driving permit violation charge. A pre-trial conference is scheduled at 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 18 in Magistrate Court.
