Court — Monday

• Robert James Morgan made an initial appearance on a false reporting on a 911 call charge. Morgan pleaded guilty and the fine is $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $147.75, due within 30 days.

• Ciro Hernandez Torres made an initial appearance through a Spanish interpreter on a operating while under the influence-first offense charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Dec. 26. Hernandez Torres is released on his promise to appear. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court within 60 days.

• Teresa Marie Carrigan made an initial appearance on a theft-second degree charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Jan. 3, 2020. Carrigan is released on her promise to appear.

• Ivan Cordova made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. Cordova pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $87.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $397.50, due within 30 days.

• Patrice Lynn Dela Torre made an initial appearance on a possession of drug paraphernalia charge and a keeping a premises for the use or sale of drugs charge. Chad Frese has been hired as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Jan. 3, 2020. Bond will remain as posted until the conclusion of this case. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court within 60 days.

• Luis Ordaz Ochoa made an initial appearance on a keeping a premises for the use or sale of drugs charge, a driving while barred charge and a driving under suspension charge. Chad Frese has been hired as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Jan. 3, 2020. The bond on the keeping the premises charge will remain as posted. Ordaz Ochoa was released on his promise to appear on the other two charges.

• Elda Lara Munguia made an initial appearance on a harassment-third degree charge. Munguia pleaded not guilty and a pre-trial conference is scheduled at 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 29, 2020, in Magistrate Court. Bond will continue as posted until the conclusion of this case. A nop-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Matthew Joseph Schaumburg failed to make an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge, a failure to maintain registration plate charge and a no insurance-accident charge and the court found him guilty on all charges. On the driving under suspension charge the fine is $250 with an $87.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $397.50. The fine on the registration plate charge is $20 with a $7 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $87. The fine on the no insurance ticket is $500 with a $175 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $735. All payments are due within 30 days.
