Court — Wednesday
• Kathleen Amber Dolan made an initial appearance on a probation violation charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Bond is set at $5,000 cash only.
• Zachary Scott Pappas made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. Pappas pleaded not guilty and a pre-trial conference is scheduled at 9:30 a.m. on April 1 in Magistrate Court.
• Armando Mendoza made an initial appearance on a failure to stop in the assured, clear distance charge and a no insurance-accident charge. Mendoza pleaded guilty to both charges. On the failure to stop charge the fine is $100 with a $35 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $195. The fine on the no insurance-accident charge is $500 with a $175 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $735. All payments are due within 30 days.
• Kenneth Tyler Aschan made an initial appearance on a driving while barred charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on March 10. Bond will remain as posted until the conclusion of this case.
• Reylene Yanni Ramirez entered a guilty plea on a driving under suspension charge. The fine is $250 with a $87.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $397.50, due within 30 days.
• Stacy Renee Kapayou made an initial appearance on a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. Kapayou pleaded guilty and the fine is $65 with a $22.75 surcharge, a $125 law enforcement initiative surcharge, a $10 DARE surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $282.75, due within 30 days.
• Jennifer S. Monroy made an initial appearance on a no insurance charge and a operation without regisration charge. Monroy pleaded not guilty and a pre-trial conference is scheduled at 9:30 a.m. on April 1 in Magistrate Court.
• Edgar B. Rangel made an initial appearance on a speeding charge. Rangel pleaded guilty and the fine is $20 with a $7 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $87, due within 30 days.

• On Monday, a case of criminal mischief to property in the commission of a burglary was reported in Le Grand.
Arrests
• On Tuesday, Feb. 18, Shanise Parker, 30, was arrested on a warrant.
