Marshall County Courthouse

Court — Wednesday

• Jessie Fikes made an initial appearance on a sex abuse-third degree charge and an indecent contact with a child charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on May 15. Bond is set at $10,000 cash only. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Richard James Dolan Jr. made an initial appearance on two counts of a probation violation charge. Christian Stickrod was appointed on one of the cases as counsel. The probation revocation hearings are set for 2 p.m. on June 3. Bond is set at $7,000 cash only.

• Drew Allen Inman made an initial appearance on a parole violation charge, two counts of a driving under suspension charge, an operation without interlock device charge, a possession of methamphetamine charge, a no insurance charge and a no valid driver’s license charge. Jeff Hazen is appointed as counsel on the parole violation charge. The Administrative Law Judge will set the parole revocation hearing. Inman is being held without bond. The public defender’s office is appointed for all the other charges. The preliminary hearing on all the other charges is 1 p.m. on May 15. Bond is set at $1,000 cash on all the other charges.

• Keyana Jade Vasquez Stabenow made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge, a possession of methamphetamine charge and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on May 22. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court within 60 days.

• Robert James Gutierrez Jr. made an initial appearance on a violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court charge. The contempt hearing is scheduled for 3 p.m. on May 20. Jennie Wilson-Moore will continue as counsel. A new no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Narissa Jo Banks made an initial appearance on a possession of a controlled substance-second offense charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel.The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on May 22. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court within 60 days.

• Margarita Ann Doege made an initial appearance on a no insurance charge, a driving under suspension charge and a driving while barred charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set at 1 p.m. on May 22.

Marshalltown Police Department

Incidents

• On Tuesday, a case of identity theft valued under $1,000 was reported to the Marshalltown Police Station.

Arrests

• On Wednesday, Robert Gutierrez Jr., 29, was arrested for contempt of court/violation of a no-contact order.

• On Wednesday, Narissa Banks, 38, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance-second offense.

• On Tuesday Keri Youngbear, 42, was arrested for theft-fifth degree.

• On Tuesday Russell Fisher, 45, was arrested for assault while displaying a dangerous weapon.

• On Tuesday Richard Dolan Jr., 52, was arrested for no valid driver’s license, driving under suspension, failure to obey a stop or yield sign, speeding, failure to obey a traffic control device, violating one-way designation, eluding and on a warrant.

Marshall County Sheriff

Incidents

• On Friday a case of vandalism to property at the Melbourne ball park was reported to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office.

Arrests

• On Tuesday Keyana Jade Vasquez Stabenow, 23, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine-first offense and on a warrant.

• On Tuesday May 5, Drew Allen Inman, 30, was arrested for no valid driver’s license, no insurance, operation without interlock device, failure to file SR-22 insurance, driving while license is denied, canceled, revoked or suspended, possession of methamphetamine-first offense and on a warrant.

• On Tuesday May 5, Jessie Fikes, 55, was arrested on a warrant.
