Court — Monday

• Justin Lee Harris made an initial appearance on three counts of probation violation charges. The public defender’s office was appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing for all charges is set at 1:30 p.m. on July 30. Bond is set at $7,000 cash or surety.

• Melisa Kay Hayward made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge, a no insurance charge and a no registration charge. Hayward pleaded guilty to all charges. On the no insurance and driving under suspension charges is fines are $250 with a $87.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $397.50 for each charge. The fine on the no registration charge is $50 with a $27.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $127.50. All payments are due within 30 days.

• Rory Connor Leavy made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge and a speeding charge. Leavy pleaded not guilty to the driving under suspension charge and a pre-trial conference is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Sept. 9 in Magistrate Court. He pleaded guilty to the speeding charge and the fine is $170 with a $64.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $294.50, due within 30 days.

• Jada Lapricee Marlen Fluckes made an initial appearance on a driving while barred charge, a driving under suspension charge, a speeding charge, an improper overtaking charge, a failure to yield the right of way charge and a failure to yield to an emergency vehicle charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on July 31.

• Madison Diana Weese made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge. Ray Starks was appointed as counsel. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Sept. 2.

• David Gomez Jr. made an initial appearance on a criminal mischief-fifth degree charge. Gomez pleaded guilty and the fine is $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and $360 in court costs for a total of $447.75, due within 30 days.

• Dylan Joe Bown made an initial appearance on two counts of a driving under suspension charge, a speeding charge and a no valid driver’s license charge. Bown pleaded guilty to all charges. On the driving under suspension charges the fines are $250 with a $87.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $397.50. The fine on the speeding charge is $80 with a $33 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $173. The fine on the no valid driver’s license is $200 with a $75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $335. All payments are due within 30 days.

• Leslie Quirarte made an initial appearance on a rabies vaccination violation charge and a dogs at large charge. Quirarte pleaded guilty to both charges and the fines are $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $147.75 for each charge, due within 30 days.

• Charleen Nicole Breckenridge made an initial appearance on a dogs at large charge. Breckenridge pleaded guilty and the fine is $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $147.75, due within 30 days.

Incidents

• On Friday, a burglary was reported in the 400 block of South Fifth Street.

• On Friday, a hit and run accident was reported in the 1300 block of West Linn Street.

• On Friday, a theft of a motor vehicle was reported in the 900 block of North Third Avenue.

• On Saturday, a first degree theft was reported in the 2800 block of 197th Street.

• On Sunday, a hit and run accident was reported in the 900 block of East South Street.

Citations

• On Saturday, Marcos Brandon Rico, 21, was cited for no insurance, stopping, standing or parking where prohibited, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle and speeding.

• On Sunday, Malinda Bautista Martinez, 27, was cited for failure to obey a stop sign.

Arrests

• On Friday, Joshua Jackson, 37, was arrested for assault and domestic abuse assault-first offense.• On Sunday, Malinda Bautista Martinez, 27, was arrested for driving under suspension.

• On Saturday, Nickolas Glenn, 32, was arrested for carrying a dangerous weapon while intoxicated, operating while under the influence-first offense, interference with official acts-bodily injury-serious, open container, failure to yield to emergency vehicle, improper rear lamps, failure to obey a stop or yield sign, eluding and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• On Saturday, Andrew Carillo, 26, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance-second offense and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• On Saturday, Christopher Strickland, 45, was arrested for operating while under the influence-first offense and failure to obey a traffic control device.

• On Saturday, Marcos Rico, 21, was arrested for interference with official acts.

• On Sunday, Armando Jara Cruz, 35, was arrested for driving on the wrong side of a two-way highway and operating while under the influence-first offense.

• On Sunday, Justin Harris, 32, was arrested on a warrant.
