Court — Thursday

• Ana L. Martinez made an initial appearance on a failure to appear for an initial appearance on a violation of probation charge. Jeff Hazen is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing will be set by the District Associate Court. Bond is set at $2,000 cash or surety.

Martinez also appeared on a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. Martinez pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75, due in 30 days.

• Martin James Jamell made an initial appearance on a violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The contempt hearing will be set by the District Associate Court. Jamell is released with supervision through the Department of Correctional Services and is to report to the adult probation office within 48 hours to sign a pre-trial release agreement. A new no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Tonya Lynn Weber made an initial appearance on a failure to appear for an initial appearance on a violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court hearing charge. Christian Stickrod is appointed as counsel. The contempt hearing is set for 10 a.m. on Aug. 18. Bond is set at $1,000 cash. A new no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Tyler James Sanders made an initial appearance on a violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court charge. Christian Stickrod is appointed as counsel. The contempt hearing will be set by the District Associate Court. A new no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Dickson Morris made an initial appearance on a no valid driver’s license charge and a speeding charge. The pre-trial conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 21 in Magistrate Court.

• Gavin Michael Cagle made an initial appearance through counsel, Norma Meade, on a violation of probation charge. The probation revocation hearing will be set by the District Associate Court.

• Gavin Michael Cagle made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. The pre-trial conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 4 in Magistrate Court.

• Cassandra Lynn Schultz made an initial appearance on a no proof of vaccination charge. Schultz pleaded guilty and the fine is $65 with a $9.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for the total of $134.75, due within 30 days.

• Enrique Lemus Jr. made an initial appearance on a possession of methamphetamine charge, a possession of marijuana charge, a possession of drug paraphernalia charge and a trespass charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Aug. 11. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court within 60 days.

• On Thursday, a burglary was reported in the 100 block of North First Street.

• On Wednesday, a theft was reported in the 10 block of West State Street.

• On Wednesday, a hit and run accident was reported in the 400 block of North 10th Avenue.

Arrests

• On Wednesday, Jose Castillo Alvarez, 31, was arrested for child endangerment and domestic abuse assault-second offense.

• On Wednesday, Tyler Sanders, 28, was arrested for contempt of court/violation of a no-contact order.

• On Wednesday, Dion Knapp, 57, was arrested for disorderly conduct.

• On Thursday, Martin Jamell, 29, was arrested for contempt of court/violation of a no-contact order.
