Court — Monday

• Virginia Maureen Purk made an initial appearance on a domestic abuse assault charge and a possession of a controlled substance charge. Tyler Reichardt was appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on July 22. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Jonathan Robert Leon made an initial appearance on a possessions of controlled substance charges, a tax stamp violation charge, a firearm violation charge, an interference with official acts charge, a driving under suspension charge, a reckless driving charge, a leaving the scene of an accident charge, two stop sign violation charges, a speeding charge and a failure to maintain control charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on July 10. Bond is set at $50,000 cash or surety.

• Luis G. Hernandez Santos made an initial appearance on a no seatbelt charge and a no valid driver’s license charge. Hernandez Santos pleaded guilty to both charges. On the seatbelt charge the fine is $50 with a $17.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $127.50. The fine on the driver’s license charge is $200 with a $70 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $330. All payments are due within 30 days.

• Alejandra Maria Valdez made an initial appearance on a owner allowing motor vehicle violations charge. Valdez pleaded guilty and the fine is $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total at $147.75, due within 30 days.

• Jonathan Matthew Parker made an initial appearance on a failure to appear for a pre-trial conference charge. The pre-trial conference was rescheduled for $5,000 cash.

• Eric Scott Boyd made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. Boyd pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $87.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $397.50.

• Katie Pearl Vryhof made an initial appearance on a dog at large charge. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 30.

• Angel Mauricio Fernandez Ibarra made an initial appearance on a permit violation charge, a reckless driving charge and a no insurance charge. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 7.

• Marilee Renee Sanache-Perez made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 7.
