Court — Tuesday

• Adam James Needs made an initial appearance on a violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court charge. Aron Vaughn will continue as counsel. The contempt hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Bond is set at $5,000 cash or surety. A new no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Christopher Lane Goodman made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. Goodman pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50, due within 30 days.

• Malinda Bautista made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge and a failure to obey a stop sign and yield the right of way charge. Bautista pleaded guilty to both charges. The fine on the driving under suspension fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50. The fine on the failure to stop is $100 with a $35 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $195. All payments are due within 30 days.

• Kalista Kay Townsley made an initial appearance on an assault causing bodily injury charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Oct. 2. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Richard James Dolan III made an initial appearance on a violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court charge, a trepass charge, a driving under suspension charge and a criminal mischief charge. Christian Stickrod was appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing for the trespass, driving under suspension and criminal mischief charges is set at 1 p.m. on Sept. 24. The contempt hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Bond is set at $2,000 cash or surety. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Damarus Lashaun Brown made an initial appearance on an assault while displaying a dangerous weapon charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Sept. 24. Bond is set at $2,000 cash or surety. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• On Monday, a vandalism to a motor vehicle in the commission of a burglary and theft from the vehicle was reported in the 1300 block of East Anson Street.

Arrests

• On Tuesday, Alexis Collinson, 19, was arrested on a warrant.

• On Monday, Kay Reh, 26, was arrested for striking fixtures upon a highway, speeding, driving while license is denied or revoked, failure to maintain or use safety belts, driving on the wrong side of a two-way highway, no valid driver’s license, failure to reduce speed to reasonable and proper rate, reckless driving, eluding, vehicle fails to respond to steady red light, failure to obey a stop sign and operating while under the influence-third offense.

• On Monday, Laquetta Ward, 49, was arrested for driving while license is denied, canceled, revoked or suspended and driving while barred-habitual offender.

• On Monday, Adam James Needs, 47, was arrested for contempt of court/violation of a no-contact order.
