Incidents

• On Monday, Aug. 31, a theft valued between $200 – $500 was reported in the 700 block of North Fourth Avenue.

• On Monday, Aug. 31, a theft was reported in the 100 block of North Seventh Street.

• On Monday, Aug. 31, a case of vandalism to property with damage valued between $1,000 – $10,000 was reported in the 100 block of South Second Street.

• On Monday, Aug. 31, two cases of vandalism to property with damage valued between $1,000 — $10,000 was reported in the 100 block of West Madison Street.

Arrests

• On Monday, Aug. 31, Matthew Lund, 24, was arrested for driving under suspension.

• On Monday, Aug. 31, Timothy Warnell II, 42, was arrested for driving while license is denied, canceled, revoked or suspended.

• On Monday, Aug. 31, Jessica Akeens, 42, was arrested for unlawful possession of prescription drugs.

Court — Tuesday

• Anthony Joseph Carty made an initial appearance on two counts of probation violation charges. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District ssociate Court. Bond is set at $5,000 cash only.

• Christopher Steven Davis made an initial appearance on a forgery charge. The public defender’s office was appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Sept. 11. Bond is set at $5,000 cash or surety. The court ordered that Davis be photographed and fingerprinted by Sept. 29.

• Melissa Helen Wade made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge. Jennie Wilson-Moore was appointed as counsel. The pre-trial conference is scheduled for 9:30 p.m. on Oct. 21.

• Jessica Shire Akeens made an initial appearance on an unlawful possession of prescription drugs charge. The public defender’s office was appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set at 1 p.m. on Sept. 21.

• Melba Gonzalez Alamo made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge. Christian Stickrod was appointed as counsel. The pre-trial conference is set at 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 21.

• Taylor Michael Vibbard made an initial appearance on a failure to maintain control charge and a no insurance-accident charge. Vibbard pleaded guilty to both charges. On the failure to maintain control charge the fine is $100 with a $40 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $200. The fine on the no insurance is $500 with a $180 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $740. All payments are due within 30 days.

• Kathy Lois Downs made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. Downs pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $342.50, due within 30 days.

• Shyanne Lacey Frazier made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. Frazier pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $342.50, due within 30 days.

• Richard James Dolan III made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. Dolan pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $342.50, due within 30 days.
