Court — Tuesday

• Ana L. Martinez made an initial appearance on a probation violation charge. Aron Vaughn will continue as counsel. The probation revocation hearing is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on Dec. 29. Bond is set at $2,000 cash.

• Heather Ann Simpson made an initial appearance on a operating while under the influence-first offense charge. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Dec. 28. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court within 60 days.

• Landis Jamell Bear made an initial appearance on a speeding charge and a dark window or windshield charge. Bear pleaded guilty to both charges. ON the speeding charge the fine is $120 with a $18 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $193. The fine on the dark windows charge is $70 with a $10.50 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $135.50. All payments are due within 30 days.

• Priscilla Maria Avalos made an initial appearance on three counts of a child endangerment charge and a domestic abuse assault charge. Jennie Wilson-Moore is appointed as counsel and the preliminary hearing has been waived. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Austin Jesus Sanchez made an initial appearance on two counts of a driving under suspension charge. Sanchez pleaded guilty to both and the fines are $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50 on each case due within 30 days.

• Aaron Jay Rogers made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. Rogers pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50, due within 30 days.
