Court — Friday

• Karma Jade Monk made an initial appearance on a pre-trial release violation charge. Pre-trial release is revoked. Bond is set at $2,000 cash.

• John Lodge made an initial appearance on a violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court charge. The contempt hearing is set at $9:30 a.m. on July 11. Bond is set at $300 cash. A new no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Marsiano Jose Galvez made an initial appearance on a driving while barred charge. Taylor Reichardt is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set at 1 p.m. on July 20. Bond is set at $2,000 cash or surety.

Galvez was also seen on a violation of pre-trial release charge. Pre-trial release is revoked and the bond is set at $2,000 cash.

• Victor Carrillo Jr. made an initial appearance on a driving while barred charge, an operation of a non-registered vehicle charge, a no insurance charge and a driving under suspension charge. Patrick Peters is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set at 1p.m,. on July 20.

• Tar Pa Pa made an initial appearance on an assault charge and a criminal mischief-fifth degree charge. Aron Vaughn is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on July 8. Bond is set at $2,000 cash or surety.

• Nivek Tecumseh Kautzer failed to make an appearance on a failure to use safety belts charge, a no insurance charge and a driving under suspension charge. The court found him guilty on all charges. The fine on the seatbelt violation is $70 with a $10.50 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $135.50. The fine on the no insurance is $325 with a $48.75 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $428.75. The fine on the DUS is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.

• Cesar Fernando Marroquin made an initial appearance on a speeding charge and a driving under suspension charge. Marroquin pleaded guilty on both charges. The fine on the speeding charge is $55 with a $825 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $118.25. The fine on the DUS is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.

• Adrian Ismael Castanon Cepeda made an initial appearance on a driving while revoked charge. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on July 20.

• Theophil Wambali made an initial appearance on a failure to stop in the assured, clear distance charge. Wambali pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.

Arrests

• On Friday, Derick Bear, 28, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while license is denied or revoked.

• On Thursday, Victor Carrillo, 29, was arrested for driving while barred-habitual offender, operating a non-registered vehicle, driving while license is denied, canceled, revoked or suspended and no insurance.

• On Thursday, Karma Monk, 21, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and on a warrant.

• On Thursday, Marsiano Galvez, 24, was arrested for driving while barred-habitual offender and on a warrant.

• On Thursday, John Lodge, 22, was arrested for contempt of court/violation of a no-contact order.

• On Thursday, Tar Pa, 32, was arrested for criminal mischief-fifth degree and assault with a dangerous weapon.
