* Taimah Duncan made an initial appearance on a operating while under the influence-second offense charge. Jeff Hazen is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 7. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

* Malinda Cruz Bautista made an initial appearance on a failure to appear for a pre-trial conference/contempt of court charge. The pre-trial conference is rescheduled for 9 a.m. on Dec. 16, the jury trial is rescheduled for 9 a.m. on Jan. 4, 2023. A contempt hearing is set at 10:30 a.m. on Dec. 6.

* Jeremiah McMullen made an initial appearance on a possession of a controlled substance-first offense. An arraignment hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. on Nov. 22.

* Dametres Bloch made an initial appearance on a spitting in a patrol car charge, an interference with official acts charge, a possession of drug paraphernalia charge and a trespass charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 25. 2023, in Magistrate Court.

* Dante Hernandez made an initial appearance on a driving while revoked charge. Arch Wilson is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 7.

* James Robert Eckheart made an initial appearance on an assault charge. Jennie Wilson-Moore is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 7. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

* Camile Avion Patton made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. Patton pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.

* Amado Garza III made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. Garza pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.

* Estefani Lopez Guido made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 18, 2023, in Magistrate Court.

* Chancey Paul Campbell made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge, a no insurance charge and a failure to use a safety belt-minor charge. Campbell pleaded guilty to all three charges. The fine on the driving under suspension is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50. The fine on the no insurance is $325 with a $48.75 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $428.75. The fine on the safety belt charge is $70 with $10.50 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $135.50.

* Nshimiyimana Maisha made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge and a speeding charge. Maisha pleaded guilty to both charges. The fine on the driving under suspension is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50. The fine for speeding is $30 with a $4.50 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $89.50.
