* Tresor Mugogo Ngoy made an initial appearance on a driving while barred charge, a driving while revoked charge and a driving under suspension charge. The public defender’s office is appointed is counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 15.

* Dean Allen Oziah Jr. made an initial appearance on a trespass-third offense charge and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. Oziah pleaded guilty to both charges. The fine on the trespass charge is $1,285 with a $192.75 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $1,532.75. The fine on the drug paraphernalia charge is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.

* Ramon Avalos made an initial appearance on a domestic abuse assault charge and a probation violation charge. Jennie Wilson-Moore is appointed as counsel for the domestic abuse charge. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 3. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel on the probation violation. The probation revocation hearing is scheduled for 3 p.m. on Feb. 22. Bond is set at $5,000 cash.

* Tony Adam Harris Jr. made an initial appearance on a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. Harris pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.

* Jesus Ventura Carrasco made an initial appearance on a violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court charge and on a failure to appear for a pre-trial conference charge. The contempt hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 8. A new no-contact order has been issued for the protected party. The pre-trial conference is rescheduled for 9 a.m. on Feb. 10 with the jury trial rescheduled for 9 a.m. on Feb. 23.

* Juan Alesander Rodriguez Escamilla made an initial appearance on a operating while under the influence-third offense charge a driving while barred charge, a driving under suspension charge and an open container charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 15. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

* Joel Vargas Rosas made an initial appearance on a failure to appear for an arraignment hearing charge and a probation violation charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The arraignment hearing is rescheduled for 9 a.m. on Feb. 3. The probation revocation hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on March 1. Bond is set at $12,000 cash.

* Moises Baiza Carrasco III made an initial appearance on two counts of an identity theft charge, three counts of an unauthorized use of a credit card charge, a probation violation charge and an escape from custody charge. Jennifer Frese is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing on the new charges is set at 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 3. The probation revocation hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on March 22. Carrasco is being held without bond.

* Robert Jackson Dalton made an initial appearance on a possession of methamphetamine-third offense charge and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 3. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

* Mitchell Ruiz failed to appear for a driving under suspension charge and the court found Ruiz guilty. The fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.

* Jacob Lee Rowley made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. The charge was amended to an expired driver’s license and Rowley pleaded guilty. The fine is $70 with a $10.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $140.50.

* Kane Lee Russell Coile made an initial appearance on a consumption of alcohol in a public place charge. Coile pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.

* Donica Susan Wanatee made an initial appearance on a public intoxication charge and interference with official acts charge. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 22 in Magistrate Court.

* Ellissa Kaye Vancannon failed to appear on a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. The court found Vancannon guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.

* Jeffery Lee Boyd made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. The charge was amended to an expired driver’s license charge and Boyd pleaded guilty. The fine is $70 with a $10.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $140.50.

* Joshua Lee Bailey made an initial appearance on a theft-fourth degree charge. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 15.

* Shannon Marie Waltemeyer made an initial appearance on a theft-fourth degree charge. Aron Vaughn is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 16.

* Shawn Michael Menne made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. The court amended the charge to an expired driver’s license charge and Menne pleaded guilty. The fine is $70 with a $10.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $140.50.

* Eli De Jesus Hernandez Trujillo failed to appear on a driving under suspension charge and the court found him guilty. The fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.

* Bertha Castallanos made an initial appearance on a truancy charge. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 22 in Magistrate Court.

* Maria Corona made an initial appearance on a truancy charge. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 22 in Magistrate Court.
