NEW YORK – Entertainment mogul Tyler Perry is producing a drama about a woman involved in a political sex scandal, the first scripted series that will air on the TLC network. TLC said Wednesday that the eight-episode series, tentatively titled “Too Close to Home,” will air this summer. The lead character is a successful woman from Washington forced to return to her modest beginnings after her affair with a married senator becomes public.
