Papakee Joins Pinnacle Bank Board of Directors

Pinnacle Bank recently announced the addition of Jon Papakee to its board of directors. Papakee is a lifelong Tama resident, and he has been employed by Meskwaki Bingo Casino Hotel as Assistant General Manager since 2014. In his 23 years of casino operations experience, he has held such positions as slot machine technician, department manager for slot operations and gaming commissioner.

“I find it a privilege to be asked to serve on the board of directors of Pinnacle Bank. I appreciate the opportunity to experience bank functions, to review regulatory compliance and to work with the other members of the board. It’s an excellent opportunity to learn about and support the efforts of the bank,” Papakee commented.

Papakee is active within his community, serving as past vice chair of the Meskwaki Tribal Council and as educational liaison for the school system from 2007-2011. He also served as vice chair of the Meskwaki Settlement School board from 2013-2016. In his free time, he enjoys woodworking, handyman projects and spending time with his family.

David Burrell, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Pinnacle Bank said, “Jon’s business background and experience will be a valuable addition to the Pinnacle Bank board of directors. I look forward to the contributions Jon will bring to our organization.”

Papakee and his wife Sonja, reside in Tama and have three children and two grandchildren.
