Don Wiser, a 39-year physical education instructor at the district, looked on as Marshalltown School Board President Bea Niblock recalled memories from their early days at the district. Along with Wiser, district retirees honored at the annual Marshalltown Community School District/Marshalltown Education Association Spring Recognition Tea included: Grant Brintnall, Kay Burr, Kathy Ferguson, Barb Gummert, Debra Johnson, Melissa Keeler, Bret Lee, Ann Noe, Mary Oetker, Marilyn Rhodes, Cindy Seberger and Vicki Vopava.
