Ty Davis shared this photograph he captured with drone technology of work going on at the High Street water tower. Earlier this month, the Marshalltown Water Works Board of Trustees awarded a bid to the JR Selzer Company to paint the water tower. Painting is necessary to protect the steel structure of the tower. In addition to the painting, a safety climb system will be added to the tower’s ladder, which is now required by OSHA. The project is expected to take about four months to complete.
