The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office and the Marshalltown Police Department joined forces Sunday afternoon to inspect and install car seats during the Central Iowa Safe Kids Coalition child car seat safety event. The MCSO and the MPD were working together in an effort to reduce the incidence of improper installation of car seats. Certified car seat safety technicians provided free evaluations to ensure proper use, installation and compliance with Iowa law of a child safety seat.
