Funeral services were held for Robert “Bob” Michels, of Green Mountain, IA, Saturday, August 26, 2017, at St. Henry Catholic Church, Marshalltown, IA. Father Don Czapla was officiant. Denise Determan was pianist and Karon Mroz was vocalist.

Casket bearers were Patrick Cornwell, Joseph Cornwell, Chad Anderson, Nathan Anderson, Benjamin Reagan, Tristan Grover, Timothy Dunham, and Greg Petermeier.

Honorary bearers were Doug Svendsen, Lynn Beichley, Dennis Bovee, Wayne Hartwig, Loran Frericks, Donald Lynk, John Stubbs and Don Howard.

Green Mountain Class of 1966 was in attendance.

Interment took place in the Chapel Hill Cemetery, Gladbrook, IA.
