At a city council meeting earlier this week, Marshalltown Mayor Jim Lowrance presented Officer Dawn Blahnik of the Marshalltown Police Department a certificate honoring her 10 years of service to the city. In other remarks, MPD Chief of Police Mike Tupper cited Blahnik’s skill set, contributions to the department, and said she “had a bright future with the department.”
