An open house celebrating the grand opening of the Iowa Funeral Home Museum and Education Center will be held Sunday, Sept. 24 from 2-4 p.m. at the museum, located at 1201 Iowa Avenue West in Marshalltown. The museum is owned and operated by Marty Mitchell, and is the only one of its kind in Iowa. For questions, call Mitchell Family Funeral Home at: 641-844-1234.
