Smith Amusement’s ‘Slime Winder’ was set up earlier this week on South 1st Avenue and awaits its first customer as part of Marshalltown’s annual Oktemberfest fall celebration which kicks off today. Starting at 5 p.m., a busy slate of activities is scheduled, ranging from the crowning of Little Miss and Mr. Oktemberfest to Big Wheel Races to Kingdom Clowns with Balloon Animals.
