Marshalltown is in the first round of the All-Star Community People’s Choice Award contest, which is all Facebook based. The link for first round voting can be found on the Iowa League of Cities Facebook page.

You just have to like the photo, which is kids playing fustal, in order to vote. Marshalltown is up against LeMars in the first round. The voting will continue as the League of Cities conference in mid-September approaches.
