A tail waggin’ good time

Saturday at Riverview Park, about 40 dogs and their owners enjoyed the beautiful fall day at the Animal Rescue League of Marshalltown’s second annual Bark in the Park fundraiser. The event kicked off with a 5K walk/run on the trail by the tennis courts. A pet fair was held outside of Reunion Hall, where Animal Clinic – The Vet offered a reduced price on micro-chipping and Happy Tails pet grooming did discounted nail trimming and ear cleaning. Inside, vendors sold baked goods, jewelry and arts and crafts.
