Metivier

A State Center man was arrested by Marshalltown Police and taken to Marshall County Jail recently for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine)-third or subsequent offense, a Class D felony, according to a criminal complaint and affidavit filed in Marshall County District Court.

Ronald William Metivier Jr., 38, also faces charges for possession of drug paraphernalia, forgery and theft-third degree and probation violation, according to court documents. A magistrate ordered the defendant held on $5,000 cash or surety bond, and appointed a public defender to represent Metivier. The defendant’s preliminary hearing is March 29.
