Huerta

A Marshalltown man was arrested recently by local police and taken to Marshall County Jail after he attempted to elude authorities, according to criminal complaints and affidavits filed in Marshall County District Court.

Sergio Emilio Huerta, 32, was also charged with speeding 25 mph over the speed limit, failure to obey stop or yield sign, interference with official acts and possession of drug paraphernalia. The defendant was later released from jail. His preliminary hearing is May 9.
