Information from Alliant Energy’s website shows just shy of 300 Marshalltown customers were out of power as of 2:27 p.m. Friday.

That data, available on Alliant’s online outage map, shows the loss of power was localized in the city’s southwest quadrant.

As of 2:55 p.m. crews were listed as “en route” to fix the issue. Restoration of power is estimated for 5 p.m. Friday.
