Prosper Lutanda, 23, was arrested Sunday and faces child endangerment charges as well as a domestic abuse assault – first offense charge.

No injury was reported in the alleged child endangerment incident, but the child witnessed the assault, according to a criminal complaint.

He made his initial court appearance Monday morning and his preliminary hearing will take place 1 p.m. July 26 at the Max Building, 101 S. First Ave.

Lutanda was arrested around 8:52 a.m. Sunday at the 800 block of West Linn Street.
