A local woman is forming a free-of-charge “non-judgemental” support group and is encouraging Central Iowa residents to join.

Roxanne Schmidt of Marshalltown told the Times-Republican recently the group

is for residents who want to talk about a “wide variety” of issues.

She will be hosting a group that will meet every Wednesday beginning 2 p.m. Sept. 4.

Schmidt will also be hosting a group that will meet the first and third Friday of the month at 6 p.m. beginning Sept. 6.

All meetings will be at the Tallcorn Towers, 2 N. Second Ave. in the Community Room, located on the lower level.

Free will donations will be accepted for refreshments.
