Demolition and clean-up on the nearly 100-year old building at 20 E. State St., which formerly housed the local Senior Citizen Center, started Wednesday and will continue through this week. A Lansing Brothers Construction backhoe is pictured. The company was selected as the lowest, most responsible bidder by the city council last month. The lot and surrounding properties will make way for a housing project.
