Volunteers with the Frank Lewis Glick American Legion Post #46 are pictured serving up pork chops, mashed potatoes, gravy and rolls to hungry customers Friday night at the local post. A free will donation entitled one to a freshly-grilled pork chop with numerous sides including beverage and dessert from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. It was a fundraiser’s delight, as nearly all of the dining room tables were full with customers waiting in line. Included were a contingent from the local Iowa Veterans Home. Proceeds help fund activities which directly benefit veterans.
