Man charged with intent to deliver meth

Mark Anthony Soad, 56, of Davenport was arrested by a Marshall County Sheriff’s Office deputy in Le Grand Monday and taken to jail on a possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, a Class B felony.

Soad had a white crystal substance in his possession which field-tested positively for methamphetamine. The amount of methamphetamine was more than five grams but not more than 5 kilograms. Five grams is equivalent to one teaspoon.
