Kelly Sullivan-Loughren of Cedar Falls was the guest speaker at the Wreaths Across America Program. She is the granddaughter of Albert Sullivan, who was one of the five Sullivan brothers killed at the Battle of Guadalcanal in 1942. Sullivan-Loughren tearfully spoke about the sacrifice made not only by her grandfather and great uncles, but by all of the veterans who sat in the room with her at the Malloy Leisure Resource Center and who were laid to rest in cemeteries.
