The Marshalltown Community School District Administration Office and school building offices are closed to the general public.

Limited access for drop-off and pick-up purposes will still be available during regular business hours with either prior arrangement or through buzz-in front entries.

Essential service staff continue to work on-site or remotely and all district staff are available via email or telephone correspondence during regular business hours.

The school district staff directory can be used to contact staff members.

The grab-and-go lunches for students and school food pantries are still available.

All Marshalltown Community School Board meetings physical attendance are limited to the Board of Directors, essential administration and local media until further notice. In accordance with state open meetings law, the public is encouraged to watch live stream meetings.

A live stream video link will be made available under the “District Updates” section of the district website homepage, as well as on the Facebook and Twitter pages.

All comments on agenda items should be submitted in writing or email by 4 p.m. on the day of the meeting.

The Marshalltown Community School District is scheduled to re-open for all students and staff April 13.

District administration will continue to closely monitor the situation during the closure and provide operational updates, as necessary.

Students, parents, and staff are urged to remain vigilant in their efforts to stay healthy.
