Marshall County has almost 920 COVID-19 cases

As of Saturday, Marshall County has 919 positive cases, an increase of four since Friday. Of the total, 549 people in the county have recovered.

Marshall County continues to have one of the highest number of cases in the state. Other counties with higher case counts are Polk with 4,166 cases, Woodbury with 3,319, Black Hawk with 2,495 and Linn with 1,591.

The Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) has confirmed 366 more cases of COVID-19, bringing the state’s total to 21,388. There have been 12,672 recovered cases in the state.

Eight new deaths were reported on Saturday, raising the total number of deaths to 597.
