Marshalltown and surrounding communities came out to support the Rotary Club of Marshalltown for a community food drive Saturday at the Fisher Community Center parking lot.

Throughout Saturday morning people came around to the Fisher Community Center parking lot in trucks and cars to donate food and money to the needy. Some came from as far away as Jasper County.

About 120 people in Marshalltown are involved in the Rotary. They have been meeting virtually since the pandemic but are transitioning to provide members the choice to meet in person or virtually.

Rotary Volunteers helped take in donations to go to the Salvation Army and Marshalltown’s Emergency Food Box.
