A free concert by Grand Marshall will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday at the Central Iowa Fairgrounds Picnic Shelter.

The event kicks off the Central Iowa Fair Free Summer Concert Series.

Attendees are asked to bring lawn chairs and enjoy the grass and shade near the picnic shelter. The fairgrounds will have adult beverages and a food truck onsite. No coolers or outside food or beverages will be allowed.

Additional dates for the series include Aug. 2, Aug. 9, Aug. 30 and Sept. 12.

The Central Iowa Fairgrounds is located at 1308 E. Olive St. Grand Marshall is a variety cover band, playing hits from the 1970s through the 2010s.
