The Marshalltown Downtown Implementation Plan work has been progressing.

On March 10, preliminary recommendations for various downtown aspects will be presented in a virtual open house by Bolton & Menk. The items to be discussed are:

• Conversion of Church Street into a two-way

• Downtown angled parking

• Steetscape enhancements, such as pavement and landscaping

• Pavement analysis

The public is encouraged to provide feedback.

Bolton & Menk worked closely with an advisory committee to review the input and develop information to present to the community.

The 6 p.m. virtual open house will be conducted via Zoom.
