A two-vehicle accident on Bobcat Boulevard near the scene of the homecoming coronation caused a temporary scare on Thursday night, but Marshalltown Police Chief Mike Tupper reported that there were only “minor injuries” sustained. The drivers of each vehicle have not yet been publicly identified, and the incident remains under further investigation.
