Soybean harvest is in full swing for many local Marshall County farmers. In this field, several combines and support grain cart wagons are busy taking out the crop of beans for this year. A very low sunlight angle accentuates shadows and dust from the combine operations. All across the landscape for as far as I could see from an altitude of 1,000 feet above the ground, harvest machinery could be easily spotted. This week’s good weather will make harvesting chores a farmland priority.
