A 12-year-old Marshalltown boy was arrested on Thursday and taken to a detention center.

He has been accused of two counts of third-degree vehicle burglary and one count of fourth-degree theft. The incidents occurred on or close to Oct. 19.

The charges are only accusations and the juvenile is presumed innocent unless proven guilty. The investigations are continuing.
