Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, February 11, 2017, from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Le Grand Community Center in Le Grand, Iowa. Davette June Weuve was born on December 13, 1952, in Marshalltown, Iowa; she was the daughter of Bill and June (Miller) Weuve. Davette attended school in the West Marshall school district and was very involved in sports playing basketball, softball and running in track and graduated with the Class of 1971. She went on to attend MCC and receive her degree in drafting. Davette was married and was blessed with two sons, Joe and Chris. She later married Kevin Anderson at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. She lived in Marshalltown her entire life. She was employed by UPS for 26 years and retired in 2010. She then worked at the Marshalltown High School in food service. Davette enjoyed camping and fishing loved cooking for everyone to enjoy. She was an amazing cook.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 10 years, Kevin Anderson, of Marshalltown; sons, Joe (Jennifer) Petit, of Reno, Nevada and Chris (Monica) Blanchard, of Le Grand, Iowa; grandchildren: Isabella, Emily, Eli, Ethan and Domenic; sister, Kim (Rich Adrian) Carter, of Denver, Colorado and father, Bill Weuve.

In death she rejoins her mom, June Carter and brother, Scott Carter.
