Funeral services for James Patrick “Jim” Mead, 81, were held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, October 9, 2017, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Marshalltown, IA, with Father Greg Bahl officiating. Music was presented by Marilyn Spafford on the organ and the St. Mary Catholic Church Choir.
Presentation of the Gifts by Grandchildren: Brittany, Carmen, Elise, Emily, Mason and Ryan.
Groups in attendance included the Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus.
Pallbearers were Brian Freeman, Brian Mead, Gregory Mead, James Mead II, Phillip Mead and Robert Mead.
Honorary pallbearers included Jim & Betty Barlow, Al & Jean Brennecke, Kevin & Marin Hansch, Patty Scheunemann, Tim & Christy Slaughter and Gary & Cindy West.
