Funeral services for Jerry L. Allen, 62, were held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, December 19, 2017, at Anderson Funeral Homes, Marshalltown, IA. Rev. Bobby Shomo officiated the service with Jan Randall on the piano.
Casket bearers were Gary Foster, Don Niederhauser, Wade Roupp, Don Smith, Gary West and Mitch Woosley.
Honorary bearers included Larry and Judy Curson, Roger Jay, Jr., Don McKibben and Tammi Woosley.
A Law Enforcement Honor Guard consisting of the Iowa State Sheriff’s and Deputy’s Association performed graveside.
Interment was at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens, Marshalltown, IA.
Groups in attendance included: Iowa State Sheriff’s and Deputy’s Association, Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, Marshall County Sheriff and Police Department Retirees, Marshalltown Police Department, Tama County Sheriff’s Department, Woodbury County Sheriff’s Department, Worth County Sheriff’s Department.
Following the services, all were invited to join the family for light refreshments at the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office at 2369 Jessup Avenue, rural Marshalltown.
