Marjorie Stoltz Redlick

Marjorie Stoltz Redlick was born on July 21, 1927, to Oscar and Helen Stoltz in Ottumwa, Iowa. She passed peacefully on Sunday, January 7, 2018, in Grass Valley, California.

She is preceded in death by Husband, Charles Redlick; 2 older brothers, Frank (Mary) and Stephen (Mary) and younger sister, Helen Dahlberg (Bill); Daughters, Cherie Haupert, Victoria Keith (Philip); Grandson, Adam Keith and Son, Stephen Redlick

You might say that Marjorie went out on a blaze of Glory, 3 months after the Napa Valley Tubbs Fire necessitated the evacuation from her home in Santa Rosa, California, to which she never returned. Her courage and faith guided her and daughter, Cynthia, into the last leg of her Earthly journey to Grass Valley where Family provided a safe haven for her final days.

In review, after attending the University of Iowa, where she met and married Wendell Haupert, Marjorie raised their 4 children in Marshalltown, Iowa. She loved a full house of Family and Friends with popcorn and fudge as her signature Sunday bill of fare. In 1971, she moved to San Francisco, married Charles Redlick and they opened Redlick & Associates, a furniture showroom at the San Francisco Merchandise Mart, during which time they lived in San Mateo for 38 years. In 1996, after selling the business, Marjorie became a Realtor in the Bay area, joined by daughter Cynthia in 2006. In 2010, they both relocated to San Rafael to support daughter, Cherie, weather the challenges of breast cancer through 2014 when they moved to Santa Rosa.

Marjorie exemplified a life dedicated to the Golden Rule, Courage, Faith and unconditional love. Her Family and friends are eternally grateful to have known and shared in her Legacy of Love.

Marjorie is survived by daughters, Cynthia Haupert, Susan Garber (John); and Sons Robert Haupert (Julie) and Jeffery Redlick (Sandy); 10 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
