Funeral Services for Richard Meisel, 70, of Marshalltown, IA, were held on January 27, 2018, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Pastor Gregg Davison officiated the service.
Pallbearers were Jim Johnson, Dave Gabel, Vern Squier, Steve Wilkens, Ron Ridout and Bob Anderson.
Honorary Pallbearers were Paul Winters, Bobby Burgin, Tony Stuckmyer and Boyd Meisel.
He was laid to rest in the Rose Hill Memorial Gardens with Full Military Honors provided by the Combined VFW/American Legion Honor Guard.
Groups in attendance were the Union Pacific Railroad and the American Legion Post #46.
Mitchell Family Funeral Home was entrusted with the care of Richard and his family.
