Shirley Ann Halverson, 84, of Tama, passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2018, at the Iowa River Hospice Home in Marshalltown. Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 26, 2018, at 11:00 AM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama with Pastor Warren Riley officiating. Interment will follow at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Toledo. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 25, 2018, from 5-7 PM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home.
Survivors include two sons: Steven (Andrianne) Halverson, of Marshalltown, and Brian (Deb) Halverson, of Toledo; seven daughters: Karen (Craig) Mann, of Toledo, Connie Welsh (Jeff Schultz), of Tama, Robin (James) Buckley, of Tama, Brenda (Tom) Anderson, of Tama, Candee Garcia, of Brush, CO, Raylene (Cuco) Jimenez, of Garwin, and Monica Halverson, of Tama; twenty-six grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; siblings: Doris Schott, of West Union, Beverly Friederich, of West Union, Ilo Downs, of Overbrook, KS, Audrey Boeckenheuer, of Ossin, and Louis (Mary) Sutter Jr., of Central City.
A memorial fund has been established.
