Funeral services for Wayne A. Brown, 94, were held at 11:00 a.m.,Friday, January 12, 2018, at Anderson Funeral Homes, Marshalltown, IA, with Rev. Cheryl Ridenour officiating. Burneta McRill played the piano for vocalist Dorothy Keeler.
Casketbearers were Bob Anson, Ben Kauffman, Phill Loersch, Adam Lytle, Tim Sutherland and Chip Thomas.
His final resting place was Rose Hill Memorial Gardens, Marshalltown, IA. Military Honors were performed by the combined VFW/American Legion Honor Guards.
In attendance: American Legion Post #46, Members of the United States Army 4th Infantry Regiment, Military Order of the Purple Heart, Patriot Guard Riders among others.
Following the services, all were invited to join the family for a time of fellowship and a light lunch at the American Legion.
