February 23, 2018 at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Rev. James DuBois officiated the

service and special music was played by Mark Forbis. Pallbearers were Byron Cooper, Ryan

Cooper, Randy Engel, Todd Nielsen, Mark Littlejohn, and Brian Thurston. Honorary

pallbearers were Tricia (Nielsen) Littlejohn, Heather (Cooper) Engel, Dr. Kennedy C.

Fawcett, Carleen Hinegardner, Larry Hinegardner, Denise Van Marel, and Steve Van Marel. She

was laid to rest in the Dobson Cemetery, Garwin, IA. Embers Retirement Community was a

group who attended, among others. Mitchell Family Funeral Home was entrusted with the care

of Lucy and her family.
