Lynn Karen Davenport, 79, of Tama, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2018, at her home under the care of Iowa River Hospice. Traditional Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at 2:00 PM at the Morgan Cemetery on the Meskwaki Settlement with Larry Lasley Sr. as speaker. A Traditional Wake was held Tuesday evening at the Eagle Clan Ceremonial Building on the Meskwaki Settlement in rural Tama.
Survivors include her daughters: Deneen Lasley, of Grinnell, Dee Lasley, of Toledo, Tamela Davenport, (Kyle) of Tama, and Melanie Davenport (Chris), of Toledo; sons: Talbert Davenport Jr., Jason Davenport, Travis Davenport, Delbert Davenport, Luke Kapayou, all of Tama, and Danny Wabaunasee, of Toledo; thirty-two grandkids; and two sisters, Rae Jean Lasley and Wanda Lasley both, of Tama.
Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home, Tama-Toledo is assisting the family with the arrangements.
